The Honda Today is a 50cc, made in China, scooter that's available in Australia (I found this photo at an Aussie site), most of Asia... but not here. It's relatively cheap, uses a Chinese-made clone of the classic Honda 50cc OHC engine, and has no speed regulator, which means that it'll do close to 50mph with a lightweight rider- or so say reviewers. Asking price in Australia is $1499 AUD, which translates to about $973 US. Sure, you can get a lot of Chinese-made scooters for under $1k, but how many come with Honda engineering and a real warranty?
Oh, and it's available in other colors besides pink, too.
